Weekend Report - Sorry, no Tina Fey

Well, another fine Boston weekend has come and gone. I had a great time with family and friends on Thanksgiving. We all brought separate dishes, and it was all great! I took home a baking dish full of leftovers, and they were fantastic.

Dave Nameika came to town for the weekend, and we all went out on Saturday for fun and excitement. Some beer and political discussion (these two should never be mixed, but we never learn) at Boston Beerworks near North Station. Then after a few rounds of blueberry ale, we were off to further misadventures at the Black Rose where we enjoyed some live Irish music and guiness.

Sunday morning brought a painful start to my day. We went out for Dim Sum at the old Empire Garden in China Town. It was an interesting brunch like experience, and at $30.00 for 5 people, a virtual steal. I imagine I might go there again in the future.

And finally I went and watched the Pats game at the Sports Depot in Brighton/Alston with some friends. We had a great time and I drank several beers and ate wings. A perfect football afternoon.

About the only spoiler from the weekend is a dead battery in my car which I will need to deal with on Monday. All in all, a great weekend!
